One of my dreams is having a large table full of people to cook for. A table full of friends who are family and family who are …family. I get so excited for holidays or birthdays and I get to roast a turkey, whip mashed potatoes, or bake goodies.
Tonight I made brownie bite truffles for family and people at work and my running friend Amanda. It was nice knowing I created these delicious morsels. Tomorrow there will be people wanting to eat them not only because it’s amazing but also because of friendship. One day soon it will be people around my kitchen table because we are family. As of now I’m off to bed to dream of family dinners, love and friendship, and brownie bite truffles.

It is good to cook for family and friends. After I finally got my house fixed this year, I was no longer embarrassed to have people in – and I was so excited to host Christmas morning brunch. It was the best day I’ve had in a long time.
